How leads work

They tell us the service, location, kitchen details and timing. - You see the details first.
City, business type, job details, urgency and the lead price — before you pay anything. - Accept or pass.
Accept and your card is charged the lead price; the customer's name, phone and email unlock right away. Pass and it costs nothing. - You contact them.
You quote and do the work directly. FirstBearing takes no cut of the job.
What it costs
You pay per lead you accept — currently $45 for an exclusive hood-cleaning lead (only you get it). Prices vary by service and area, and you always see the price before you accept. No monthly fee, no setup fee, cancel anytime.
Bad lead? If the phone doesn't work, it's a fake, a duplicate, or outside the area you set, request a credit within 14 days. Credit policy.
Service areas
Choose whole states, cities, or ZIP codes. You only see requests inside them, for the services you offer. Set a weekly lead cap if you're busy.
Verification
We review new companies before showing any trust labels. We only call a company verified, licensed or insured when we have seen evidence — nothing is shown on your say-so alone.
Questions
Is anyone else getting the same lead?
Leads are exclusive by default: once you accept, no other company can buy it. If we ever offer shared leads, they'll be clearly marked and priced lower.
How fast do I need to respond?
An offer stays open for 24 hours, or until another company accepts an exclusive lead. The first company to call usually wins the job.
Where does FirstBearing operate?
We're starting with commercial kitchen services in Colorado, Texas and Arizona, and adding areas where businesses are asking. You can join from anywhere; you'll get leads when requests come in your area.
What do you do with my card?
Stripe stores it — we never see the number. It's only charged when you accept a lead.
